Tarot est un groupe de heavy metal finlandais reconnu comme l'un des pionniers du genre en Finlande. Il s'est fait connaître grâce à son album Spell of Iron, sorti en 1986, et à son titre phare « Wings of Darkness ». Bien que populaire sur la scène underground finlandaise pendant des années, Tarot a conquis un public international grâce au succès du bassiste et chanteur Marko Hietala avec Nightwish. Face à un regain d'intérêt mondial, Tarot a réenregistré Spell of Iron pour son 25e anniversaire.
