Aguilar TLC Compressor EQ DLX: Dynamic Control and Musical Tone Shaping

The Aguilar TLC Compressor EQ DLX is a bass compressor pedal designed to deliver precise control over dynamics and tone. This product combines advanced compression circuits with an integrated EQ, allowing bassists to tailor their sound with both clarity and musicality. The Aguilar TLC Compressor EQ DLX follows a studio-style approach, first controlling transients before enhancing the instrument with broad bass and treble boosts, providing a polished, mix-ready tone. The pedal is intended for both stage and studio environments and is lauded for transparent compression, responsive controls, and natural tonal enhancement.

Standout Features: Parallel Compression & Studio-EQ Circuit

The Aguilar TLC Compressor EQ DLX distinguishes itself with parallel compression via a blend control, letting players mix dry and compressed signals for punch and nuance. Its boost-only bass and treble EQ are derived from Aguilar's classic DB 925 preamp circuit, further expanding its tonal palette. An intuitive LED gain-reduction meter ensures on-the-fly and repeatable visual feedback.

Complete Dynamic Control for Performance and Recording

Precise dynamic control is crucial in both live and recording contexts to maintain consistent volume and tonal character. The pedal’s configuration brings familiar studio tools to the pedalboard, making advanced compression accessible and easy to manage for any player.

• Compressor Controls: Threshold, Attack, Release, Ratio, Blend, Output — adapts feel and sustain for performance style
• Gain-Reduction Meter: LED visual meter — instantly gauges compression amount

Musical EQ Shaping: Boost Your Signature Sound

Tone shaping defines the bass’s place in any mix. Boost-only bass and treble EQ curves inspired by the DB 925 circuit provide a full, musical spectrum and help deliver clarity, depth, and presence without harshness.

• Bass Boost: Fullness and low-end weight — thickens the sound without muddiness
• Treble Boost: Clarity and articulation — enhances note definition and presence

Size and workflow matter on modern pedalboards. The compact TLC Compressor EQ DLX delivers channel-strip workflow, parallel compression, and tone enhancement in one unit, with dimensions suitable for any setup.

• Dimensions: 153 mm (W) x 83 mm (L) x 57 mm (H) — minimal pedalboard footprint
