Jackson JS Series Dinky Arch Top JS32 AH — Metal-Ready Superstrat With Floyd Rose Tremolo

The Jackson JS Series Dinky Arch Top JS32 AH Pavo Purple is a purpose-built Superstrat crafted for those who thrive in the worlds of shred, hard rock and metal. Its lightweight poplar body features a sculpted arched top, delivering a sleek, modern silhouette and keeping the weight comfortable for extended rehearsals and stage use. The Pavo Purple gloss finish, paired with black hardware, creates a visually striking look fit for any metal stage setup.

Inside, players will find dual Jackson high-output humbuckers with ceramic magnets, producing the thick, aggressive sound that has helped shape Jackson's reputation. A three-way blade switch, master volume and master tone provide rapid access to everything from chunky rhythms to soaring leads. Rely on the Floyd Rose licensed double-locking tremolo and locking nut for expressive dive-bombs and pull-ups, all while maintaining rock-solid tuning under demanding conditions.

Standout Features That Set This Dinky Apart

What stands out is the unique combination of a 1-piece bolt-on maple neck, graphite reinforcement, and a scarf joint — an advanced construction typically not found at this price. The graphite rods fight warping from humidity and string tension, while the scarf joint enhances upper-fret access. Alongside the 12"-16" compound radius amaranth fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets, this Dinky is made for players who want freedom in the upper register without resistance from the neck.

Body Construction and Tonewoods — Lightweight Poplar With an Arched Top

Players benefit from a poplar body prized for its balanced midrange and light weight, making the guitar comfortable for long sessions. The arched top adds both visual depth and a contoured feel against the player's body, while a gloss finish protects the wood and gives the Pavo Purple a deep, reflective shine.

• Body Material: Poplar — balanced midrange tone with light, shoulder-friendly weight
• With the sculpted arched top carved directly into the poplar, there's no separate top material needed.
• Body Finish: Gloss (Polished) — high-shine lacquer that protects the Pavo Purple finish

Neck and Fingerboard — Speed Neck Built for Shred

The neck utilizes a 1-piece bolt-on maple design, graphite reinforcement, and scarf joint, all finished in smooth satin for friction-free position shifts. The amaranth fingerboard — sometimes called purpleheart — delivers a bright, snappy response with durability for aggressive playing. Rounder near the nut for chording, the 12"-16" compound radius flattens toward the body for easy bends and speed runs.

• Neck Material: 1-Piece Bolt-On Maple with Graphite Reinforcement and Scarf Joint — warp-resistant and stable under heavy string tension
• Fingerboard Material: Amaranth — bright, durable hardwood with fast attack
• Fingerboard Radius: 12"-16" compound (305-406 mm) — curved for chording, flat for lead work
• Frets: 24 Jumbo — extra-wide frets for easy bending and clean note articulation
• Nut Width: 42.86 mm (1.6875") — comfortable grip for rhythm and lead styles

Hardware and Electronics — Floyd Rose Tremolo and High-Output Humbuckers

The hardware set is built around a Floyd Rose licensed Jackson double-locking tremolo, complete with a locking nut. Players can confidently use the tremolo for dramatic effects without fear of detuning. Jackson sealed die-cast tuners add stability, while all-black hardware emphasizes the aggressive aesthetic. The electronics include two Jackson high-output humbuckers with ceramic magnets routed through a streamlined control layout: master volume, master tone, and a three-way blade switch.

• Bridge: Floyd Rose Licensed Jackson Double-Locking Tremolo — stays in tune through dive-bombs and pull-ups
• The HH pickup configuration produces thick, noise-canceling tone, making it ideal for high-gain styles.
• Pickups: Jackson High-Output Humbucking (bridge and neck) with ceramic magnets — aggressive output for rock and metal
• Scale Length: 648 mm (25.5") — standard long scale for tight low-end and clear highs
• Strings: NPS .009-.042 nickel plated steel — light gauge for easy bending and shred-friendly feel
